Brand new 2022 construction 3200 square foot, 2 level, custom built home will meet and exceed your expectations for a mountain vacation. This is our 8th season of offering luxury vacation rentals in the Asheville/Black Mountain area.
The home is located in Catawba Falls Preserve, a gated mountain community preserve with paved roads (any vehicle can make it to the property) and miles of hiking trails located just 8 miles (15 minutes) from the town of Black Mountain and 23 miles (30 minutes) from Asheville. The community backs up to the Pisgah National Forest and is the home for an abundance of wildlife including black bear, deer, turkey, birds and many other animals. Wake up to a symphony of birds, turkeys and woodpeckers. The sunsets and mountain views from the large back deck will amaze you!
This home is set up perfectly for 2-3 families or multiple couples to vacation together. 4 bedrooms have their own bathroom. There are two premier king primary bedroom suites on levels one and two. Level two has two junior suites – one with a king and one with a queen. Each primary suite has a walk in shower (level 2 also has a soaking tub), double granite sinks and a water closet. Bedroom 3 on the upper level is an en-suite with a king bed and a bathroom with a tub/shower. Bedroom 4 on the upper level has a queen bed and is a 4th en-suite with a tub/shower combination. Bedroom 5 on the upper level has 2 twin beds and accesses the bathroom through door in the hallway shared with bedroom #4. There is an office/flex room on the main level with a desk and a trundle day bed that can easily sleep 2 and be a possible 6th bedroom. The home can accommodate 12 comfortably in beds. There are 6 TV’s in the house connected to DISH satellite with most sports channels included. All TVs are smart TVs and available for streaming from your favorite apps such as Netflix. All the bedrooms as well as the great room have TV’s. We have FAST HI SPEED WIFI internet that should be able to handle any needs including streaming movies, downloading, zooming, etc. The garage game room has ping pong, foosball and cornhole. This is a great home for a flexcation! Much of the house cabin decor was acquired locally in Black Mountain and Asheville.
The property is very quiet, peaceful and private and sits on 2 acres with breathtaking views all around. The large deck and covered patio have plenty of seating. The large back deck is perfect for entertaining with a hot tub, BBQ, table with seating for 6, cozy outdoor furniture in the covered section and even a gas fire table. The amazing outdoor spaces are the place for relaxing and watching the sunset as well as enjoying the mountain views and listening to the sounds of nature.
The garage game room is where the fun is! There is a foosball table, ping-pong and cornhole. There is also a Harmon Kardin bluetooth speaker in the house that you can connect your devices to for your music. Your kids will not be bored at this house! For nature lovers, there is hiking, waterfalls and abundant wildlife in the Preserve. Our community has miles of hiking trails along the pristine streams and rivers with waterfalls.
The home and kitchen are very well stocked with all your basic supplies needed for your vacation week. There is a double oven for cooking those big family meals as well as a gas cooktop, microwave, toaster and air fryer. The beds are all made up prior to your arrival and we provide towels and linens.
We take cleaning our house very seriously. We have instructed our crew on the latest recommendations such as using the highest heat setting for washing linens and towels, airing out the cabin during cleanings, disinfecting all surfaces including counters, door knobs, light switches, remotes, railings, etc. When possible, the owners are present at all cleanings supervisor and helping the cleaning crew.
We keep our availability calendar up to date. Please check our calendar before inquiring about availability. We usually respond to all email inquiries right away or within a few hours. We have a 3 night minimum requirement in the off season (Sept, Nov-May excluding holidays and spring break) and a 7 night minimum in season (Memorial Day through Labor Day and October with a Saturday turnover) and all holidays and spring break. Please do not inquire for less than 3 nights.
Pet Policy: We allow up to 2 well behaved and housebroken dogs with prior approval and paid pet rent fee of $150. Please let us know the breed, weight and age of your dog(s) for approval. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick medications prior to arrival. Sorry, no cats or any other animals allowed.
